Brent Matthews dominated the Albany Weekend winning both the Windfarm Hillclimb and the SRT Sprint. He now is on top of the series points table.
Marcel Every is in second place with a 2nd at the Windfarm and a 3rd at the SRT.
Neil Herbert is in 3rd place with a 4th at the Windfarm and a 2nd at the SRT Photos by Cameron McLaren
Both events ran smoothly with the only major incident I have heard is Mark Tamblyn going off at the finish of the Windfarm and sustaining some damage to his XR8. He was able to compete in the SRT sprint.
There was a rare occurrence with Mark Hallam being beaten in his class. At least there was some consolation as it Jamie Taylor was driving another Escort.
The results for both events have been posted on the Albany Results page and the points have been updated. Note Keith Woollard hasn’t been allocated points for the Windfarm because of a broken driveshaft that did not allow him to get a timed run.
